- Document an abnormal event and its discrepancies.
After any abnormal event: secure the aircraft and batteries, report the discrepancy, ground the aircraft if in doubt, and write down what happened while it's fresh. In PreFlighted a discrepancy puts the run on hold until an instructor decides — no student can clear it.
